we are using a toshiba phone system. it sends via .wav file also. I get the same error. mine says:
Cannot play back the audio stream: the audio format is not supported.
my motorola q does the same thing when trying to play mp3's and when trying to play .wmv files. don't know if there is a download to fix this. HELP!!
EDIT: I tried to play the same file on my desktop and got the same error but I did find this on MS pages:
Codec is missing
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Dialogic OKI ADPCM (17) codec is not installed on your computer.
The missing codec might be available to download from the Internet. To search for the Dialogic OKI ADPCM (17) codec, see WMPlugins.com.
