Spp, Ftp, Opp, Dun, Goep, Hsp, Hfp, Bpp, A2dp, Avrcp, Gavdp, Hid, Bip

I know that the A2DP, AVRCP works, However, I am unsure about the rest. The Motorola website list these as the profiles that it ships with however I am really interested in the DUN (using it as a modem) capability. Along with the HID (possible mouse/keyboard).

Has anyone had experience using any of these profiles and would you post your results. I would really appreciate it as I am am now 2 days away from my Q purchase and if it is lacking DUN that would force a different decision.

As Always, My Thanks

Cheers!!

VZW has probably disabled the DUN and any other profiles that they deem they might be able to make money by selling as a separate service or feature.

Just because Motorola shipped it, doesn't mean it got past VZW.

It would look that way. I just found this chart on the Verizon site and it would seem to me (unless I am reading it wrong) that DUN is not supported either through bluetooth and I am still checking on wired (USB) . Only the 6600 support bluetooth DUN. This is nuts!! But I think you are right, if they can make a buck then they will probably offer some sort of service or patch and make that buck.

I wonder if PDANet from JuneFabrics will work?

A2DP on the Motorola Q is Excellent!! Paired it with my HT 820's and I now know how it should sound. Now onto the rest..........more later.
