When is Verizon going to Release?

I see on the VZW page that they are going to be the first to carry this phone - anyone know when this is supposed to happen? I expected to see a lot more BUZZ about this device but not so much.

Verizon Wireless will be releasing it for ordering on the web May 31, and available in retail stores July 5.

I called my rep and asked for it. He said he will ship on the 31st. I'm guessing that they already have them in distribution but just can't release yet...

I picked mine up a few hours ago from the VZW kiosk at the mall. However, my B2B rep just shipped me one for $150 so the one I have now gets returned tomorrow.

So far, I'm in love and may have FINALLY found a device that I can live with for more than a month. This think is simply amazing.

This be true and is why this one is going back tomorrow for the $150 until my B2B rep's got coming to me.

Too early for a real review, but I don't think the negative review posted in this forum is fair. I can't find anything to hate about it yet. For me, not having to depend on a stylus anymore is a BONUS. Reviews should not be written on personal preferences but on features and function. You can't give a device a bad review because it doesn't use a stylus and you PREFER devices that use them. I can't give a truck a bad review just because I prefer cars.

$419, Damn.. that's pretty steep.. I just called my verizon sales, and was told the same price.. now I am not sure if I should wait till July so I can get the $200 discount, or just pay $419 and get it on June 5.. debating...

Bought mine yesterday

Yesterday morning I called one Verizon store and they said the stores didn't have them yet. I called another store and they had them. I'm in the Atlanta area. I went by at lunch and picked one up. They are $299 with a $100 instant rebate or you can apply the $100 to accessories (car charger, bluetooth headset, etc.).

If you are like me, it'll be love at first site. This is the first converged device that I've had that doesn't feel like one. It has a good weight but is light, the keypad is VERY usable, and the screen.... the screen will probably win the sacred spot on your belt clip all on it's own. Super sharp text and graphics.

Again, I'm still in the honeymoon stage with the Q but so far, it just can't see getting rid of it. Like others who have predicted so, I think this device, based on price, features, usability, and great looks will bring convergence to the masses. If the Q does for smartphones what the RAZR did for cell phones, we are going to see massive amounts accessories and an abundance of great software titles.

I am like you...and I still feel this way after months of using it.

This phone is going to very popular.

BlackBerry Ent server?

Does anyone know if this device will work with the BB ent server - I saw on VZW site that they are offering the unlimited wireless package - same price as the BB package so was wondering if it would work?
