Outgoing email problem with alltel & charter
so I had this same problem about a year ago, but I can't remember what the solution was.
for some reason, out of the blue, I can no longer connect to my outgoing email server. no changes to the phone, just noticed 7 messages stuck in my outbox.
pop3 email from Charter, incoming email works & syncs fine. I see that the outbound server is currently set to mail.alltel.net, so maybe changing it from smtp.charter.net was the fix last time.
I've tried changing it to the charter address and that hasn't worked.
Any ideas? I need to keep my Q working for a while longer!
