Jabra BT350 won't connect with Q

Hey guys, I just got my Q today and unfortunately I'm having problems connecting my current bluetooth headset with it. With BT on, the jabra on and the Q actively searching, a connection isn't made. I hope I'm not just doing something retarded, but does anyone know how to make this work?

thanks

Two things to check (forgive me if you have checked them). One, that you are using the headset profile on the Q, and two, that your headset is in pairing mode.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know the profiles impacted wether or not the headset would work with the phone. Currently I have tried the outdoor and normal profiles, each of which have not worked. As for the pairing mode question, I'm pretty sure it is in pairing mode. I removed the device from my old phone's bluetooth section and then turned on the headset. This promted a message saying the headset was in pairing mode and asked if I would like to connect.

What other issues may be causing the connection to not happen?

thanks again in advance

Sorry...I confused you on my use of the word 'profile'. I meant bluetooth profile. When you go into the phones bluetooth manager, it will list several types or profiles for your bluetooth connections. One of them is Hands-Free. If you go into that profile, you should see your headset listed. If not, this where you need to do the pairing. Check to see if your headset is listed.
