USB Cable Replacement?

OK, we all know the very short USB cable can be a problem. Has anyone found a good replacement or can any microUSB cable be used as a replacement?

New and used retractable micro usb, Cell Phones PDAs, Computers Networking on eBay.ca

These are all retractable and cheap (yay!). I have one in my car that attaches to a charger/flashlight/usb port:

Scosche USB 12v Car Charger and Flashlight on eBay.ca (item 200399670847 end time 27-Mar-10 20:35:24 EDT)

But you can use the cable anywhere..

Just be careful when using non-OEM cables... I have read many posts that people are making because their phones are "going nuts" and "doing strange things"... (Quality of manufacturing, from what I read, is everything)...

Just bought this..

Rocketfish™ - Travel Wall Charger - RF-RZR90

It's worked well so far. Now I can actually have my phone within reach on my nightstand.
