I've yet to get an extra battery for the 6800, but I probably will. I wonder how annoying it would be to peel that case off on a daily basis.

Yeah, that would suck taking that rubberized case on and off each time you have to swap batteries. Hopefully, you will only need to swap once. Thank the good LORD that my Seidio extended battery lasts me all day.

I ordered a crystal one. I don't want to fight that rubber every time I put it in or pull it out of my pocket.

We have recieved many inquiries - How many types of PPC 6800 hard cases do we offer ? so we answer the question here

1) Rubberized hard case (top and bottom cases are rubberized black)
SUPER SLIM RUBBERIZED HARD CASE FOR PPC 6800 - CSR2YP6800-BK

2) Crystal case (top and bottom are clear)

SUPER SLIM CRYSTAL HARD CASE FOR PPC 6800 - CSC2YP6800-CL

3) Hybrid hard case (top case is clear and bottom case is rubberized black)

SUPER SLIM HYBRID HARD CASE FOR PPC 6800 - CSH2YP6800-CB

Best of the two worlds ! (to show your PPC 6800 and increase the grip)

Each case is also available with matching holster combo or matching leather case combo.

We hope this will help to answer the questions you may have, if you have any more question, please post your question here.

Anyone with a seidio rubberized case, does it make it a pain to get out of your pocket? Is it that grippy or not an issue?

The rubberized coating is actually smoother than a silicon skin. It's not as "rubbery" (is that a word?) as the name suggests.

Thanks

Seidio, do you have an actual store in the Houston area, or just mail order?

Sorry...we don't have a retail store at this time, but we're definitely expanding our business to include more brick and mortar. Right now our products can be found in Airport Wireless stores around the country, but their closest location is in Dallas.

Thanks

Will the rubberized hard case work with the factory holster? I prefer it over swivel clips.

Also, how do you pronounce Seidio?

Seidio,

Is there any way you could make a version of the black rubberized case that does NOT have a hole for the camera?

Since the slim black caes looks like its part of the phone, this could be the answer for those who have restrictions on cameras. I would recommed covering the holes for the camera & flash, camera button and the antenna port (since it kind of looks like a round camera lense).

With only two slits for the rear speaker, the black backing would make it look like the phone didn't have a camera and would require removing the whole skin to use the camera.

Just a thought..but I know I would buy one.

If you're talking about the original HTC case that came with the phone...no. I tried it and couldn't get it into that case.

Is there a reason all the photos of the holder show the phone with its backside sticking out? I'd like to see the face so I can see who is calling....

Is there any way you could post some upclose pics of the clear case like you did the black rubberized case?

Also is the clear case a hard plastic, b/c if so i'd be concerned about how it holds on and would the tabs break easily?

This would much help me in determining my purchase for the black rubberized or clear if I seen the up close pics the same as the rubber ones. Thanks if you can do this.

The first link is a discontinued item and is no longer available. We made some small modifications to fit both the Sprint and Verizon models. That is the second link.

Thanks,

just to comment on the "rubbery" feel, this is not a problem at all. it is very smooth, and does not cause any problems. the only problem on MY phone (i760) is that the case chips the top and bottom paint off. This didnt require me taking it on and off multiple times. the first time i removed it this happened... but to me, i am going to keep the case on either way, so it didnt much matter.

These cases are VERY difficult to get off the phone, so taking it on and off to swap batteries is not something i would advise... i use only my extended battery, keep the case on, and charge it every other day to be on the safe side. it just isnt worth the hastle taking the case on and off. the clips are almost TOO secure. im afraid i would break one removing the case. i would actually recommend that unless you are a VERY patient person, you only buy the extended case if your phone has an extended battery.

im not sure how this relates to your phones, but that is what i found with this case for my i760.

all in all i like this case, and there really isnt any BETTER option on the market.
