So folks, for those of us who haven't had a sedio mount in the past, what do we think of them?

I have one for my xv6700. It's not the most attractive of solutions for mounting, but it works well and is easy to set up and move from one vehicle to another. The mic is very good and enables the person on the other end of your call to hear you very well. The built in speaker phone though, is a bit distorted and not very loud, so I don't love that feature. Price wise, I think Seido is over priced in the car mount arena, but if you can afford to overpay it is a good portable unit. Overall, short of a hard wired solution, the Seido mount is very good and I do recommend it if you can live with getting ripped off a little.

Just read the other thread on this topic has been closed. Could someone (possibly a seido rep?) please elaborate on the differences between the two models of mounts. there is a HUGE price difference, and i'm wondering what feature could make the second mount nearly twice as much as the first one? the site offers no description and for the discrepency in price, i would like to know why pay double for one that looks like the only extra is the speaker feature (which on the i730 is not too shabby and really doesn't need a car mount speaker). Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Hi Jon,
The 4600T should have a variety of outputs - including true stereo, for hook up to your car stereo via auxiliary, FM transmitter, or cassette adaptor. It also allows for DC in/out for powering other devices. It has an integrated speaker as well. The 4200S will have no in/outputs, and no internal speaker. It will simply be a hold and charge solution, which it sounds like you are looking for.

It will be a very nice piece of work. For reference, please look at the following released 4600T for another model:
https://www.seidioonline.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=388
I can't guarantee that all features of this model will be incorporated into the Samsung series, but we are working overtime to do what we can.

Can you clarify how the audio out works. Does it require plugging a cable into the audio out on the side of the phone; or does the audio come out the bottom where the power is?

Hi,
You had it right the first time. It will come with a cable that will go from your audio out jack to our audio in jack.

Group buy oir discount for members?
Seidoseido,
Can we get a group buy discount? or introductory offer? I know a lot of us bought proclips mounts because of the conflicting information. Since you are offering the G4600 I think alot of people are thinking about it even though they bought the proclips. I asked orders@seidonline.com and they told me that they would need to know how many but I thought I ask you since are well aware of this site.
Also, I know this is a longshot but anyway to have a model with a buitin BT GPS receiver? I figure the G4800 series are serial connected devices but would it be that difficult to embed a BT receiver instead?
