Its called Jetware Handsfree extension. Now the guys over at xda developers have been using it for the gms variants of our phone and I figured it wouldnt work with ours but I went ahead and gave it a try and it actually freaking works!

I have the ez talker tekkeon et3000, a caller id headset. Now before installing this program, the headset supported things like browsing my phonebook, caller id with name and browsing my caller history all on the headset but it none of these features worked on my ppc 6700 and checkling tekkeon website it seemed only certain gsm phones supported these features. After installing this program everything works, I see the name when I get a call, plus I can browse my phonebook ON MY HEADSET. Its amazing.

You guys with car radios that support the headset profile give this a try, I bet you guys with such cars like the new lexuses or the prius will now be able to browse your phonebook, view your battery life and signal strength and so on, I know I now can on my headset

On a seperate note, how good is the headset you're talking about? Are there any other headsets that support the same features?

I love it, I can dial and browse my phonebook now with the headset, its loud and the screen is oled. I can also redial last number by holding down one of the volume buttons. And it looks awesome when worn, I can overstate that fact, it really looks good compared to other headsets that are really thick, this one is nicely shaped and the bulk of the earhook which is kinda big because the earhook IS the battery is hidden behind your ears.

The ear gel is kinda crap though and demands replacement for the better fitting jabra ones which I promptly did

Hea, I was reading through the features, and it lists microsoft voice command compatability. Has anyone checked this claim out?
