You can never have enough battery backup - we'll be moving to generators next. :>

A friend of mine in England has been working with exactly this kind of research tech. Right now he has something about the size of our OEM batteries that can run a standard cell phone for 1 week on a renewable resurouce: urine.

Of course it'll run for a week, no one will use it!

I wonder if you eat a bunch of Brussels sprouts you’ll get even longer run time?

Hope he's at least got a hands free setup

I wonder if this will actually increase the signal strength. Even if it does, I doubt it will increase it significantly. It will probably be very minimal.

I would be happy if it just helps compensate for the drop in reception that happens as soon as you pick this phone up lol

Mark,

Your site shows out of stock. When do you expect inventory?

Would you believe we have already sold out of our stock of 2800mAh batteries! BUT we have more arriving within the next week. We'll post here as soon as they have arrived.

We also still have some of the 2300mAh batteries and 1500mAh batteries in stock.

Mark,

Sorry, I asked you the wrong question in PM. Here's what I meant to ask you: Any plans for anything larger in the near future? When I remember the rest of what I wanted to ask, I'll PM you!

Officially, NO.

Unofficially, We're thinking about it. Everything depends on how this new 2800mAh model sells and if we feel there is a desire and market for a larger capacity battery. A larger battery means a sizable investment in time and money. PDA's have a relatively short life cycle (18-24 months). So these are all things that have to be taken into consideration. Unless we have other input, we do not see a larger capacity battery on the horizon.

What's the mAh capacity limit (would you estimate) that could be achieved, while still allowing a battery to fit inside the extended metal cases that are currently being sold by pdair (which I ordered for your 2800 mAh the other day) and other outfits? Nex

(Ex-Montrealer btw)

Well for reference, when you're thinking of whether or not to make larger batteries.. well just look at how fast these sold out Mine hopefully should arrive tomorrow.

I currently have Seidio's 2400mAh battery. In HEAVY usage times I can use up 15% of that battery in an hour, sometimes more if I'm in a very low reception area.

So I'm definitely looking forward to this 2800 And if there was a higher one, I would have purchased that! I'm sure there's a lot of people like me out there who want a very heavy duty battery that can last through an entire day of heavy usage.

I'm confused. Will the 2800 fit in holsters/cases that are designed for extended batteries or not? Seido says it won't fit theirs. Which ones will it fit? Answer needed ASAP.

Funny, I already asked the same question in this very thread and manfredng replied that they would. Three minutes after that reply I ordered the PDair aluminum case for extended batts and the 2800 batt itself.

Both the batt and the case should be here by monday or tuesday.

Now manfredng and mef38 aren't the same person I see now looking back. But manfredng was speaking as if he had something to do withh the design of the thing. And mef38 sure didn't say peep afterwards.

There's no way I'd have ordered the 2800 battery if it didn't fit an available aluminum case.

So manfredng, are you involved somehow? And Mef38, what's the deal? Nex

OK! May be someone never heard me before in pdaphonehoomel.com and I actually have reply many user in VX6600 battery forum topics.

I do like to introduce once again of myself. I am work on Fattafa Ltd which makeing the Mugen Power battery.

Our new 2800mAh 6700 battery and the battery door size is same as our 2300mAh battery and other company 2400mAh battery. So there are no doubt that the aluminum case can be use on all these different mAh models.

For the hostler, I don't know is it fit or not becoz the battery door bottom of ours and seidio battery have a little bit difference. We have improve the design of battery door from sharp 90 degree corner to round corner than will let the battery more confortable hold in hand.
