The swivel holster is a face-in design so the battery would normally be exposed anyway, so yes, the holster will be able to accomodate the extended battery.

Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. My order has already been shipped so I can't wait for it to arrive.

With the 2400 mAh installed the phone does not sit all the way down into the Seidio holster. The extended cover hits in two places. there is a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom of the holster and phone, as seen in the photo. I am so dissapointed. I just ordered the holster about a month ago. Now I need to modify the holster.

Quick note. I got the VZW holster last week and it DOES pop the miniSD card out. The only way to avoid it is to carefully remove the device from the holster with both hands. It's not a one handed operation. Otherwise, I like it . . . I'd be interested to hear from a Seido owner.

I've been in contact with more than two Seido guys from diff departments - there is a newer holster coming out designed for the extended battery. From what I gather, it fits a little better than the existing Seido holster when the PPC has ext battery on it.

What is the longest battery that you can get that does not have any increased thickness?

Got my battery today. Everything looks good so far, I just charged it, so I'm going to leave it off the charger all night. Normally, with my phone just sitting on the night stand with the regular battery, it would be at about 30-40% by the next morning. So we'll see how this one fairs, I expect it to be around 60-70%.

FYI-If I fully charge my stock battery, turn the screen off, and place it on my nightstand, it's at 90% when I wake up.
If you are at 30~40% after 8 hours of no use, you should take a serious look at your setup.

I second that 'take a serious look at your setup'. My battery is 90-100% after a 6-8 hour overnight rest on the nightstand. And that's with Outlook polling every half hour or so, I believe.
I emailed Seidio about the max capacity of a regular-sized battery. Hopefully they will respond here.

Extended battery and Seido holster
I posted this in another thread, but since we are discussing the Seido extended battery, I will post it again, sorry for this.
I just received these tonight and also noticed the gap in fit between the holster and extended battery cover. I will say the holster is very well made, and I can also confirm that if you just slip it in and then give it a small nudge it will lock in place in the same manner as the standard battery cover will. My question to David was about your comment you made not to use the holster and that you were working on a change in the design. What should we do in the mean time, keep our holsters, or send them back for the new design, or as you said in a latter comment that acording to others, (and I have read their comments) that they have had no problems with fit with the extended battery cover. I would like to know your position, are you going to redeisgn the holster, or keep the current design and recommend using it with the extended battery cover. Your products seem well made and I would like to feel safe that the holster will meet my needs. I do not want to take a tool and redesign this myself. I paid over $30.00 for this and I feel I should get what I pay for. I would just like to know which way we need to proceed.
Thanks
John
