Hard to tell from the picture but that thing looks bigger than the OEM extended battery. I was hoping that Mugen would create a battery the size of the OEM standard battery with the capacity of the extended battery. Either way I am interested in seeing the specs and a photo w/ it installed in a phone.
Judging from the the thickness, this thing is a monster! I'm betting double to triple the life of the stock "Extended" battery, probably as much heavy too.
Regardless, if you need some staying power then this could be a definate must have. On the flip side, lugging it around on your belt might be a challenge.
manfredng, good to see the i730 batteries coming out. If you recall, I have awaited the release of several Mugen batteries, and have always been a fan. Any idea what the mAh of the two batteries will be? Anyone who has a history with Mugen batteries knows to expect the battery to be the exact same size or only very slightly larger, so these two batteries should be very similar to the standard Samsung ones.
As someone who regularly packs around a Surefire G2 flashlight, a CRKT Desert Big Dog knife, a Leatherman Charge Xti, a full bit kit for the Leatherman.. all this slung on a riggers belt... I'm all about a bigger extended battery so that when I forget to charge it (because I do. Regularly.) I won't need to go phoneless.
Mind you, I work in IT, not out being a ninja somewhere... I just like to be prepped for any and all circumstances. If I wasn't living in a communist state (New York), you can bet I'd be carrying a Glock daily as well. Never too many tools on the tool belt.
But please do give us some MAH numbers, and a rough estimate on cost, while you're at it!

It is probably available from Mugen (who manfredng works for) for Lion Battery to order. Which means it will be in stock at Lion when they get it from Mugen, who is located in Hong Kong (I think).
