Talking Bluetooth Handfree Rear View mirror with FM transmitter

I didn't know there's such a cool stuff which can pair w/ my new Mogul. Feel like a 007

I was just talking to a guy in Radio Shack yesterday about a device that would pair with my 6800, and play my mp3's wireless over my car stereo. That would be awesome.

Too bad it has to come from over seas. $30 shipping puts the price at $130. Not bad for that type of device, but I'd honestly like to see it up close before I spend that kind of money on a product.

They have other devices that can stream mp3's from a A2DP enabled device to your car stereo.

Verizon Wireless is selling this one: Venturi Mini uses lots of RF to get music from phone to car stereo - Engadget

And there is the countless MP3 playing car stereos that have BT built-in like the Pioneer 7900BT

You might invest in a cheap powered RF transmitter for your vehicle to test how well this will work before sinking any real money into it. Or borrow one from a friend. On my Honda Pilot, the FM antenna is at the rear of the car around 8-10 feet from where I place my phone. Even on a perfectly clear channel, the RF signal isn't strong enough to play the music without static. So before you opt to go that route, make sure that you know how far your antenna is. If it's at the back of the car, test first before you invest.
