Kyocera website has no 911 info on the 7135 ???

I have not found it yet, why isnt it up there? Is Verizon bullying them too? Man, I need to get some info so I can go after them.

I wonder if I can get an internet petition going on with everyone that has these, and, or, have run into problems with Verizon.

I don't know about E911 but I have successfully called 911 from my phone numerous times to report accidents, etc. I think the 7135 just lacks the tracking hardware for them to locate you by using the tracking info from your phone.

The 7135 does have E911 hardware. There are documents on the 'Net showing it. Don't know why Verizon says it doesn't.

Some have E911, some don't.

When I bought some used 7135s last year I got a pair of working units. Verizon said #1 was not activatable, but said #2 was.

I ended up activating both with Page Plus.

But PP activated a QCP-6035 after the 911 mandate kicked in and there is no 911 in those. My 6035 still works on Verizon today.

The proof you want is provided by Verizon themselves:

All KWC7135 have the GPS hardware. The reason some are activatable and some aren't is not due to any hardware differences, but probably due to some inconsistencies in their ESN database.
