I just returned a 7135 to Verizon. Kept it for the 14 days, and was pretty happy with it. There were some things I did not like, like the size, lack of real hands free car kit, etc., but the real kicker was the difficulty of dialing/interacting with the screen while driving. One thing I do frequently is call someone at one number, and if I don't get them, then I call them at a different number (ie, office, then cell, then page them). Also if you want to call any number that is not the primary number, you have to tap the screen, scroll, tap again. Kinda difficult at 65 MPH. My Startac, I hit send, no answer, go bact to address book, jog to the next number, send again. I can do it with my eyes closed!
I tried with the Palm Address Book and Act for Palm. Has anyone use a good onehand dialer?

I'm a huge TAKEphONE fan... http://www.shsh.com . Dialing is very easy, and very one handed. Plus it has lots of other great features. Download the trial and check it out

I agree with Robert K. TAKEphONE is great! I used to really like Super Names to keep all the data, but TAKEphONE is great for utilizing the data (lookup and dialing any number in a name).
I must be missing something, because this works with the regular Palm address book for me. Hit the address book button, use the rocker to scroll down to find the person I want. If I want the primary number listed, hit Send. Otherwise, hit OK in the center of the rocker and I get a list of all of that person's numbers. Scroll to the one I want using the rocker, hit Send, and it dials. If nobody answers then hit the address book button again and you're back at the list of numbers. What am I not getting?
Using your fingers on the screen, you begin typing any field information in the contact that you are looking for (last name, company, etc) and it narrows the search as you type in more letters. Usually about 3 is fine for my 1400 contacts. You can then open the contact and dial the number.
I bet you had the same problem I had with the address book dialing bug. This is fixed in the latest firmware release which my store FINALLY got and installed it 2 days ago. Now I dont need to use the stylus anymore to dial numbers.
Just scroll or put in a few letters, select the person, click OK if i want the other numbers, then click the Green Phone button to dial it. Works GREAT!
If you dont have that latest firmware fix though make sure your car insurance is paid up because I came very close into getting into an accident because of that damn bug!
