Program to randomly fill memory card with mp3s?

Hi all.

I've been searching in vain for a program. I have a huge hard drive
of music (about 200GB). I also have my 7135 Palm PDA with BeBopper and a 2GB SD card.

I want to be able to put the SD card into my PC (yes, I have a card reader) and run a program that will fill the card with random songs from a chosen directory on the PC hard drive. This would be really helpful, not just for the 7135, but for any mp3 player that uses/mounts like a Windows drive.

Thanks for any info,

David

Have a look at MediaMonkey.

Thanks - I checked that out, but I try to stay away from the types of programs that want to take over all media files on your PC (including iTunes).

On another forum, I got a great pointer for this program: RandomFill - Randomly fill your mp3 player . It's small, simple, and does everything I need.

MusicMatch?

If it still exists, get a copy of it. It's got a great "auto DJ"... you select 1 or 5 or 10 or however many artists and/or songs and/or albums you want, adjust the "variety" slider to adjust how broadly it should expand the artist base, and tell it how much music you want (either in terms of memory required, or total time). It does the rest.

I've been using Music Match for a while, and it's never given me much of any problem. It only opens when I open it, as I've deselected it to become a default player or open for anything other than when I click on it.

A great tool, because I absolutely hate trying to fill a 1 or 2GB SD card with music.
