Well,

Scratch another 7135 user off the map. After 4 1/2 years with my trusty 7135, I've made the switch to linux based phones. I waited and waited for cool CDMA technology to arrive, but not wanting the treo .. and sort of tired of the PALM OS, I'm moving on.

Just got a Motorola Rokr E6 quadband GSM phone direct from Hong Kong. In 3 days have been able to modify it to do exactly what I want. Very cool stuff.

Ultimately I'm waiting for a Neo 1973 running Open Moko (see Openmoko.org Portal Site), but until then, I'm a Motorola user again.

Thanks to all for their help and input over the years of making the 7135 work for me.
