Multiple sync cradles

Does anyone know if you can run more than one sync cradle via USB? I have several now, my wife is now using a 7135 as a PDA (since I acquired a number of them), so it would be handy if I could run two sync cradles at once. I guess the $64K question is whether the Palm Desktop s/w can run more than one sync at a time; however, if I could connect two cradles, I could run them consecutively to sync the phones (assuming, of course, I can get the s/w to run more than once w/o resetting the computer, and if someone knows what's going on with that, I'd be appreciative there, too).

Assuming, of course, I can run two sync cradles on the same computer at the same time.

Thanks, all,

KM

Depends what you mean by "run". There's no reason you couldn't connect multiple sync cradles to a PC via USB. But I don't think the Palm desktop app can run multiple instances simultaneously, so you can only sync one phone at a time. Bear in mind that setting a phone on the sync cradle doesn't actually connect it as a USB device, only initiating HotSync (or some other app that explicitely opens the USB port, like the MP3 Downloader or the Fax/Modem app) will instantiate the 7135 as a USB device.

Summary: you can connect multiple sync cradles to a PC and you can charge multiple phones in those cradles simultaneously, but any connection to the PC as a USB device (HotSync, MP3 Download, Fax/Modem) would have to be done sequentially, one phone at a time.
