7135 Voice Memo - Shortcut like the 6035!
This is pulled from another forum, from "Simon", by way of Melbourne, Australia. I tried it--and it works!

Yes, you can shortcut the Vocie memo !
I discovered from somewhere that if you allocate a button to the Memos application (via PDA Prefs then select the Buttons menu), then by holding it down for about 2-3 seconds, it automatically assumes that you are making a voice recording !!
The next enhancement I did was to ensure that I always append my voice memo's to an existing audio file. This way I can have a single shopping list or To Do list.
I did this by selecting the Options then Settings choices in the voice recorder memo application. I've told it to always wake up in SpeakerPhone mode and to AutoAppend to a specific file. Works pretty well, except I haven't been able to discover how to edit a voice recording to delete a section. I can only delete the WHOLE file & start again, whcih I'm not too impressed with.
Anyway, you can certainly do what you were asking about. One final thing.... To turn off the voice recorder once you've started it this way, just push the Memo button once.
