I am a new Kyocera 7135 user BUT a long time PDA user so I have some general suggestions that some may find useful:

Consider using a 3rd party launcher (I use ZLauncher) which allows for tons of customization + VERY useful instant info such as battery voltage (a much more accurate way of knowing remaining time) and remaining memory (interannly and external card). Catagory setup and icon arrangement is an invaluable asset for speed of use, personalization & just plain "fun". Whatever launcher you use will most likely allow for add'l graphic and backgroung setup which again can suit personal tastes. Most launchers are relatively inexepensive and although I am trying not to give a biased plug. ZL is only $12 and they are constantly providing free updates.
