Ok. So I've searched with different strings, read dozens of threads, but to no avail. Here is my issue....I cannot get the flip open or close sounds to work.

I downloaded a few Star Trek Communicator ones from the download forum here. I chose it from the list, close the phone, open it, and nothing happens. No sound.

Soft reset has been done to no avail
Phone is not in silent mode.
Silence All in the prefs is set to Normal Sounds.
Kyo factory flip sounds such as Dolphin or Splat do not work either.
Ringers downloaded...Star Wars Imperial March, work fine.

Anyone have any other suggestions? I'd love have the communicator sound occur when I flip her open.

Flip sounds are considered system sounds. Be sure those are not turned off at the PDA prefs general page.

You rock! That was it. I never though to check under PDA Prefs for anything sound related. Awesome.
