Retrieving mail from AOL on 7135

Hey folks, attemping to retrieve mail from my AOL account with Eudora on the 7135 but having some difficulty. Is anyone doing this successfully with an AOL account? If so, what am I doing wrong? I'm with Alltel by the way. Here are my settings:

basic

username is correct and doesn't have the "@aol.com"
incoming server: imap.aol.com
outgoing server: smtp.aol.com

security

security incoming
save password
authentication: best available
ssl: alternate port

security outgoing
authentication: best available
don't authenticate
ssl: alternate port

For others accessing their AOL accounts via the 7135, how do your settings differ? Anyone using VeraMail to access AOL mail on the 7135?

Thanks
Sean

Eudora is one of the apps I have never been able to figure out. Someone please fill me in as well as how it works & who it works with & what to do to get it functional.
Thanks in advance!

After several years of using the WAP browser to check my AOL mail, I found out the Mobile Mail app on the 7135 CD can access IMAP email, which is what AOL is. I installed it, and it works just like Eudora. I don't much care for the interface, but it lets me check my email much easier.

Yes, the Eudora mail is a POP mail client only. It won't support IMAP. I use the Palm version of AOL 3.1 to check my AOL mail. I never thought to try the mobile mail off the CD. I know Snapper mail will support IMAP as well.
