Modem Sync with Fast IR

Has anyone been able to do this? How? I want to use the 7135 as a 1XCDMA modem and sync fast IR with my notebook computer to make it all wireless and portable. If anyone has any information than I think it would help alot of people.

I know you can definitely hotsync the 7135 via Ir with your laptop, I've just never done it.

However, what you cannot do is use the Ir port as a communications link between the 7135 and a laptop for use as a wireless laptop modem. Like in all Palm smartphones, the Ir port is only capable of interfacing with the Palm portion of the 7135, not the phone/modem part.
