Uninstall the Palm Desktop, reboot, delete the Program Files/Palm folder, reinstall the Palm Desktop.

You don't need to uninstall/reinstall the Palm Desktop software. Simply remove the Hotsync identity from within the Palm Desktop software. Make sure the relative Backup directory has been deleted or moved as well. Then just start using it like it's a new install.

If you go My Computer, C, Program Files, Palm. Then you should see a file with your last name and first initial. Look for backup and just rename it. Then sync.
For outlook to sync you must load the chapura software from you cd.
