If I go to gmail.com, on my Kyocera, it won't allow me to enter my account information. Are there preferences that I need to set up

Are you going to GMail with a web browser on your 7135? If so, that's why. Their login page requires Java, which no browser available to the 7135 has. You'll have to log into the account with your PC, and activate the POP3 functionality in the options. Then use a regular Email client, like SnapperMail, on the 7135 to get your GMail on it.

I don't think that is completely true. I don't think PIE has java (you need netfront for that) I am able to get to Gmail through PIE.

It is all "beta" but I was able to get onto it this morning.

I am with SilvrDrgn though, get it working through SnapperMail, its a better email client than the web.
