7135 and WIFI sd cards.

I have just went out and purchased the Sandisk 256MB+Wi-Fi card. After doing all of the necessary installation, when I try to change the network settings to "W lan" and select "details" to set it up it tells me it can not find the card.

Sandisk will not comment on whether or not it will work. The 7135 is not on the compatiblity list but other Palm devices are. I thought it was worth a try. Turns out to be a waste of money. Has anybody had any experience with this?

Take a peek, all of the palms on the list are OS 5. As far as I know it will not work with a 7135.

The card only works with handhelds that run PalmOS 5. As the 7135 is PalmOS 4 and cannot be upgraded, it will not work.

Sychip Wi-Fi

Hi there

Has anyone tried the Sychip WLAN 6060 SD card for wi-fi? Their website claims that it supports Palm OS4.0 and higher.

http://www.sychip.com/wlan.htm

Thanks!

To clarify dxspip's answer:
The 7135 MMC/SD slot is data only. It will not support ANY expansion feautures.

We went thru this with BlueTooth earphones.
