Do I really need a battery cover??

Okay, so I got pretty unhappy with my 6035 dying frequently, so I said, why not have new equipment that dies frequently.

I just purchased (off eBay) for not terribly much a used 7135. Of course, I just bought the phone (although it looks like the antenna is still attached). Honestly, what additional equipment will I need??

I figure
1. A battery
2. A way to charge the battery
3. A battery door??

Anything else?

If you want to sync it to your computer for calendar sync or backups, you will need either a sync cable or a cradle. You can backup to SD card using 3rd party software, but you can't sync the software without the cable or cradle. (It can be done via IR, but that is very slow).

i would reccomend

Hot sync cradle (59.99) - gives you the ability to hotsync or a usb data cable (39.99) will also allow you to hotsync

Battery (59.99)

Rapid Travel Charger (29.99)

you can purchase a batt door for 5.99 also

these are all prices directly from the kyocera Acc Store

Update: I purchased a

battery door, charger, car charger, and USB data cable (off eBay). I am totally shocked that the phone charges (or seems to) off the USB cable. Way cool.

Then I splurged and got a couple more toys (like a holster). This is such an improvement over my 6035.
