Question Card Info w/ 1GB sd card

Card Info used to give me the details (and allow me to format) my 1GB SDcard, but since I almost completely filled it up CardInfo is having problems.
It freezes on the 'please wait' screen

has anyone experienced this problem before? maybe it could come from faulty data on my card..

Wink

Try hitting the website of the card manufacturer to confirm the card can be supported by the 7135.

I have a 512 MB Kingston card. Once I got to a certain level of storage availability, it was no longer recognized by the 7135. The card works everywhere except on the 7135 ( including my Treo 600). I contacted Kingston and was told the 512 MB card was yet not approved for the 7135.

By the way, be sure to back your files up in case the card if failing. Others on this forum might be more helpful.

Good Luck.

well it was working fine with about 100mb of data on it.
it was only after i filled it almost completely that the card started doing weird things.

I know one folder is acting strange on the card (I can not delete it for some reason, not even with Filez).
That could cause my problem.

I just ordered a card reader/writer so I can try backing up to PC, reformating the SD, and copy the data back on the card see is CardInfo reads it again..

Try loading the card into another device and see if it resets itself somehow. I have found that when I load my card into the card reader or my Treo it resets itself and works fine for a while.

Be certain to close the drive or directory before you remove the card. I have found that skipping this step does not help.

Remember to check the card manufacturer's website.

Good luck.
