Text Messaging

Is there a way to receive text messages without subscribing to Verizon?

As I understand it you don't need to subscribe to anyting if you're already with Vzw. If you don't have a text messaging plan you'll be charged .02 for each message received. I started recieving junk mail messages and called up VZW to complain and they added 100 messages a mounth to my account, at no charge, to cover any other spam SMS's. I can't deny that I use the feature for my own communication as well.

Probably nothing... the formating of a regular website on a small screen is going to always look different. there are some sites that are specifically designed for PDAs, this one for example if you go to the mobile version. Different browsers will format the screen layouts differently. I've had better luck with WebPro and blazer in that reguard. Also you might want to try www.skweezer.com. it is a service that reformats websites for PDA screen. It was recently featured on the home page of PPH.
