Thumbs down extremely long delay for [new] txt messages??

hi i have had my 7135 now for about half a year, using the exact same phone/pda preferences, and in the last few days it has decided to give me about a 45 second wait when creating a new txt message (or replying/copying to new..)

not sure how this is, only hack i have is afterburner trial, which was working fine since i got it, and makes no difference with it disabled.

Did a hard reset then a restore/hotsync of my data from before the problem started, and no difference

Has anybody else experienced this??

I can't say that I have ever encountered this.

Delete old messages

Do you have a lot of old messages in your Inbox and Outbox? If so maybe you should try deleting some and see if that resolves your slow response time.

yeah i was doing that, deleting all my txts in my outbox, and it worked normally but as soon as there was at least one txt in my outbox i got the ~45sec wait per new msg.

After a while tho i started getting the wait even with NO txts in my outbox

i deleted the 1600 odd saved messages and that solved my problem - heh
