I got the $6.50 from them, but it does not work properly if the earphones are plugged all the way into the adapter (the sound is corupted).

However, if I plug the earphones only half way into the adapter, and put the balance on one side (on the mp3 player), the sound is ok ( but I get a mono -not stereo- output of course).

I emailed them and wait for a response.

the adatper is not compatible with the port on the phone then..

what you are doing bascially is shorting out one of the connectors on the adapter with the port on the phone.

if the model you have is designed to work with the 7135 then it is faulty and needs replaced. otherwise, if you just bought it and it did not say it was compatible with the 7135 then you have an incorrect adapter...

I have their adapter. It should work with a standard stereo headset. Also in my case they replaced a failed adapter (slipped a replacement in with a subsequent order).

yea they are sending me a new 1 as well. these guys are great.

yeah i bought three at once (seeing as the postage was bout as much as the adapter itself!!) and all three worked fine
sold one to my mate and another on local 'ebay' & evened out postage
