Sup, new user to this forum --- my welcome thread + ringer request
Hey everyone.
I've had the kycoera 6035 black and green phone for a while and really enjoyed it. through trouble and such, I happened to work for a company where the boss was a super nice guy and he gave me a 7135, half broken for free and 2 other 7135 phonhe for replacement parts.
I'd like everyone to know that I got someone (a random used cellphone merchant) here in the Dominican republic to replace a half cracked (superior-anterior region of my phone was cracked due to a drop), with the parts of the replacement phones fixed for 200 pesos here in Santo Domingo amazingly fixed for the equivilant of 6 dollars. That beats the 100+ dollars I've seen others replace much simpler things. Anyway, what I want everyone to know is that everything can be fixed if you go to the right spot. Here the economic situation is a bit tough and everone working is willing to put out an arm and a leg just to get you happy and have you pay them. I took the risk and it worked, plus I have a spare working 7135 sitting here doing nothing. For the inversion of 6 dollars I can now sel it on Ebay for a higher price, of course.
Anyway, the purpose of this message is to let everyone know that your 7135 can be fixed no matter what if you travel to a country where the people have more needs and will sacrifice anything to help ya out.
Although, just so I might as well ask, on the 6035, I had a ringer that would sound like a nuclear bomb was about to be detonated, it was amazingly loud and would scare everyone, It had a fluctating tone, sort of as if a submarine of the US Army was going to launch a nuclear bomb. It started as a high pitched tone going to a high level, then lower itself and repeating.
If anyone has a ringtone of the sort for the 7135, it'd be greatly appreciated. I beleive it was called "submarine" on the 6035 or "bomb", but it was one hell of a ringtone.
If anyone has the ringtone or has any questions about the Dominican Republic or cellphone repairs please let me know. Anything can be fixed here, for an amazingly ridicioulus price..
Thanks,
Robert
