Sticky buttons

I have had my 7135 for around a month or so now, and i have noticed that the buttons seem to 'bind' as they are pushed. Is this a common problem? has anyone found a solution? I have had the phone apart to clean the buttons, and was thinking maybe a little graphite or something might 'lube' them up..

Ideas?

Yeah there known to get gummed up, just like any phone would. Actually I've found mine stays relatively clean probably becuase of the flip and I carry it in the holster instead of my pocket. I would think that just cleaning the buttons, contacts and face plate should suffice. I don't think I would use graphite, if it gets into the rest of the phone I'm not sure if it wouldn't short something out.

I have cleaned them... its almost as if they push a little crooked, and just bind in the holes.. oh well something I might have to just live with I guess.

it would be cool to have a replacement button-pad for the 7135, with better button response..
oh well.

go to phone preferences then click on the pull down menu at the top right corner. go to keypad then for SOUND: pick "clicks", then for Volume: pick "off" this will take care of the problem.

Its not actually that the phone isnt responding fast enough... its that the buttons 'jam'.... I need the clicks to verify that they actually work...
