Thumbs up dictionary

I am wondering if I add the software dictionary thesaurus to my kyocera 7135 ,Can I use it from the sd memory card without putting it on the phone's memory. Im asking this because most of those programs use about 5megabytes. thanks for any help.

Since you dind't mention WHICH software you're talking about, how can anybody answer? There's more than one dictionary/thesaurus application.

Anyway, your question isn't 7135-specific. You should just ask the vendor directly.

Yes, most dictionary and thesaurus software can be stored and operated on SD cards.

DBs on SD Card

I use Noah Lite, which on its own doesn't allow you to store the DB on a memory card, but to get around that I use MSMount which allows all applications to read a memory card:

For the record...

I use the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, 11th ed. with 225,000 words as well as the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Thesaurus with 340,000 words.
