I've been frustrated with using the cradle's hot synch button since getting my 7135 two years ago. It's never worked. The get around, of course, is to select the hotsynch program from the phone. Then the synch works fine.

Today, I stumbled across a foolproof way to have the button work right each and every time. You simply close the clamshell on the phone and touch the hotsynch button. Works every time!

BTW, I am a Mac user with a USB connection an a G5.

Any chance an ettant program i interfearing with the hotsync function (a hack, maybe?)... My 7135 syncs with the cradle button both open and closed.

i see alot of people complain of this and it's not something i have a problem with.

the first push of the button will put the phone on the "palm" side and second will activate hotsync. this occurs if the phone side is active so i always just double click it.

the palm side and the phone side don't work together well sometimes
