Bigclock requires SD card?

After reading a post on alarm clocks, I downloaded Bigclock. Slight problem: desktop installer wants to put theme file (file extension bct, IIRC) in an SD card, refuses to install to the handset, and throws an error on every hotsync that it doesn't find a card. (Guess I'll have to drop the theme from the install list until I get one.) Anyone else had this situation, and is there some way to force the file onto the handset, or will Bigclock look for it on a card and not on the handset?

TIA

BigClock does not need an SD card. What do you mean by "desktop installer"? Is that a third-party thing? If so, you should use the standard Palm Desktop software "Install Tool" to get it onto your device via a hotsync operation.

I was using the Palm Desktop install tool; sorry for the confusion. In fact, since I use the USB connection for the sync cradle, the user manual says I had to install the 7135 Palm Desktop s/w (apparently, I could've used the old 6035 s/w if I were using the serial port), and that's the program that insists on installing the bct file to the SD card instead of the handset.

"bct file" ?? PalmOS handhelds can only accept PRC, PDB and PQA files internally. It sounds to me like you're trying to install the wrong file. You need to install just the BigClock ".PRC" file to get it onto your handheld.

OK, I guess I misread the doco. I grabbed the source file, not the PDB. Thanks for the responses, all.
