ripping cd to mp3

I have had my 7135 for quite a while and very happy with it. I had never used the mp3 player option much. I have ripped a number of cds at 128 bit rate. They run in the 1mb to 3mb size. Are these reasonable sizes for ripped songs?

Yes, Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" is about 2.7 mb.

Beethoven's 5th is 27.1 mb.
