Hi everyone.
I found a great way to carry the 7135 while running.
I am a distance runner who lives in rural Virginia. I have only lived in this community for about a year and a half, which means occasionally on my long runs I get somewhat lost just when it is about to get completely dark. Around here at night there is NO ambient light, so night time running is something of a daredevil experience.
For this reason, I always thought it would be nice to have my phone with me, so if I ever got lost or hurt, I would not be stranded. Since the 7135 has an analog band, there is always a pretty good chance I could make a call if I had to. Plus, it is nice to have the mp3s as well.
I could never find a good solution for carrying my 7135 that was not too bouncy or uncomfortable. However, I was recently in Target and saw a product called the Case Logic MP3 Player Case (MPC7). It is made for the iPod but fits the 7135 perfectly with one tiny modification: you have to poke a small hole in the top for the antenna.
This case offers an armband, a belt pack, and a hand strap for carying your device and is very comfortable to wear, without too much bouncing. It holds the 7135 securely with no fear of it coming off and there are extra pockets for SD cards, keys, etc.
All in all, I really like it and highly recommend it.
Here is a picture. In the picture, you are seeing the phone holder and the belt strap. The part that holds the phone comes off of the belt strap to be used on the arm or in the hand.
