Silent Mode Question

Is there a way that when you put the phone on Silent Mode that it would go to "Lights Only" mode instead of "Vibrate Only"? Thanks!

Here is a silent ringer that I use on my 7135 and it works good.

Not exactly what I meant, but good stuff. What I want is for the phone to go to "Lights Only" when I press/hold the volume down button. Make sense?

Yeah, I think I understand. I had a samsung 411 that use to do that. So the phone would be silent, but when a call came in the screen would light. This would be a great idea, specially for when you are in a meeting and don't want to distrub anyone.

Okay maybe I don't get it, because after I wrote this I thought the silent ringer would do the trick. So I investigated and put on the silent ringer called myself and all that I saw was the pager light go on and the little green indicator light go on. Isn't this what you wanted? Explain?

I want to use the volume down button to activate the lights only feature. Got it?

I know get it. You are looking for a hack of application that will allow you to use your volume down to go to Light only. I get it. This would be great. I would like in on that one to. Maybe one of the wizards on the forum can get to work on it.

Lightbulb

I am not try to be a smarty pants but powering off before you enter the meeting will do the trick. The PDA side of the 7135 will remain operational.

I bet you want a solution that can be invoked with one hand though.
