Bluetooth Adapter for 7135

I just bought a new 2004 Prius that has pretty neat integration with bluetooth phones. Searching through various boards I can not find any successful bluetooth adaptor for the 7135 that will work with the Prius. Did I miss anything? Has anyone had sucess with this?

If you bothered to read the description:

The new DC600 attaches easily to your phone allowing non-Bluetooth capable Motorola phones to use Bluetooth companion products by Motorola.
the answer is "no."

Paul,

I read the writeup several times before posting, and I don't see what I am missing. Why does the fact that "The new DC600 attaches easily to your phone allowing non-Bluetooth capable Motorola phones to use Bluetooth companion products by Motorola" guarantee that it won't work with the 7135? Is it a well known fact (known by everyone except me) that Kyocera and Motorola accessories are always incompatible?

OK. Deep sigh!

Has anyone successfully connected any bluetooth adapter to fit a 7135?

Maybe with an intermediate connection adapter?

There is a bluetooth adapter compatible with the 7135. It supports a limited # of devices, NOT including any headsets. The 7135 is likely going away, so don't look for any new development.

Where can I find out more about this adapter? The folks I talked to at Kyocera tech support do not know anything about it.

I have the SD card. It does not link to the phone part of the 7135 so it will not do what you are looking for. I assume that you are trying to get the phone to connect to the car so you can make calls using the car system?

Why wouldnt the Motorola work? Besides people just saying it will not what reason is there? The data part would not work but the audio is what is in question. Unless the headphone jack is not the same size then I can not see any reason.

There are other bluetooth headsets available, but I do not know if they would interface with the car system correctly. Just remember that getting you can only setup the audio or the data, not both.

Well, I guess you could get the SD adapter and the Bluetooth headset, but that would be asking for trouble

Because the 7135 obviously isn't a Motorola phone.
