Does anyone know how to schedule a text message to send after a couple of minutes, hours or days. The text messaging "options" has the capability, but immediate delivery is the only action (even when you input a time and date).
Mine never did, it just sent them right away. Try searching the forum for this, I vaguely remember it being Verizon-dependant. Similar to the number of rings before voicemail and that some areas can change it and some can't.
When composing a text message the bottom of the screen should have 4 buttons - SEND / SAVE / CANEL / OPTIONS
If you click on Options, you will see Shedule Date and Schedule Time selections. Set the options to your liking, click on OK (which will bring you back to the message window), and then click on SEND.
The text message will look likes its starting to be sent, but then a clock icon will appear to the left of the message signifying that the message will be sent at a later time.

You're instructions are flawless, and all happens as you describe, but even though I see the clock icon the message is nonetheless sent (and received) immediately.
Thanks Pylades211, your instructions are flawless, but my unit does the same thing as gellmanb's. The clock appears for about 3 seconds and then the message is sent. Any other ideas?
And was the text message received immediately? When I tested the scheduler out I found that the message was not received right away, but 10 minutes later (as scheduled).
Yes, the message was received right away. I kow that something is going on because I have never gotten the little clock to display before sending a message, but it just goes ahead and sends it anyway.
