Quicksheet not recognizing Excel file

Hello, I emailed myself an excel file, downloaded it with SnapperMail and then clicked to open it, but it said I had no program that could open the file. Odd. So I saved the file to the card and to the phone and opened quicksheet and could not locate/open the file. Any idea why? Isn't Quicksheet compatible with Excel files?
Thanks!

Yes it is. Is there soething with the file perhaps? Try sending a simple one cell type of spreadsheet and see if it opens. Trty creating one on the phone.

Do you have the latest version, blah blah...

That could be it. This is complicated with three sheets. I can easily make it one sheet though. Good advice. I will try that.

>>Try creating one on the phone.

This I can do. I regularly use files on the phone and create new ones, so that is ok.

>>Do you have the latest version

Hmm. Well. I am not 100% sure. I only got the phone this past December and I installed whatever it was that came with it at that time.

Thanks for taking the time to toss these suggestions out there.

is it a file creator issue perhaps? Maybe snapper mail "created" the file when you detached it and now Quicksheets can't locate it?

Beisdes, I thought quicksheets used its own file type (hence the need to use quicksheets on your PC to copy the file to handheld)

I know DTG will open native Excel files

I thought the latest version could open xls. Kerry, you might want to double check that on their website. Since I don't have my 7135 anymore, I can't check for you.
