Wrong question!!! A much better question is 'what is the most you can overclock with stability, and what settings provide the best overclock experience.' That information has been discussed previously at http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...highlight=3.20 . Briefly, it really depends on exactly what you have in your hand not what others are able to achieve on theirs. My last 3 all had different top speeds depending on the stability available per that unit. Currently I live with 47-48MHz. I can get away with pushing it further, but... I don't care to find that my phone was malfunctioning when I was expecting a call. It runs plenty snappy at those speeds; anyway, I wouldn't want to run seti@home with such a limited battery life .

I found mine topped out at around 44-45. Each phone will be different. Afterburner allows you to test yours and you can also overclock individual apps.

Phone function is generally the first thing to "go" if you push it too far.

I'm pushing a database app (Smartlist) on my IIIxe at 59mhz with Afterburner, and you're telling me this thing gets silly at lower speeds? Ouch.

I'd like to think that a 7135 is just a *bit* more sophisticated than a IIIxe, particularly the phone side of the 7135, which is what everyone here has said seems to be the most sensitive.

On this line, it seems that the phone software could use some improvement in its responsiveness.

I don't know if anyone ever noticed a delay in response whenever the time of the phone side increment it's minute digit. Whenver I encounter a delay, I wait for a few seconds then I see the minutes digit changes and then the phone responds again.

I also noticed this delay thing just right before the battery bar goes down a notch. Strange.
