Agendus (Iambic) Mail - SnapperMail

I have three email accounts - one for work, one for my family, and one for friends. In Agendus Mail, I can easily retrieve my incoming mail from each of these three separate email (pop3) servers. However, my outgoing mail must be sent through my telcom smtp server (smtp.telus.net in my case) and the return email address is always shown as myname@telus.net.

I would like the email return address to be different for each of my three email accounts. Otherwise, return emails are filed under one account, rather filed in either my business, family, or friends email account.

Does SnapperMail provide the alternative of having the return email address the same as the incoming email address. Is there something that can be done in Agendus Mail to provide this alternative?

Many thanks for your assistance.

For each email you are going to send you will need to change the default compose new message account with setting.

Assuming you already have all your accounts set up on Snappermial....

Go to options, edit accounts.....you will see "compose new messages with:"

Your accounts will be listed at the arrow and you select which one you want to send from. A little cumbersome but it will work that way.

It's even easier than that with SnapperMail. While you are on the message composition screen, there is a dotted box around the word "From:" for that field. Tap the word inside the dotted box, and that will allow you to change the account that your message is being sent from on the fly. Provided you have the proper account settings (i.e. Email address in the Identity tab) for each one, returned/replied messages should come back to the proper account.

Many thanks for the assistance. It does seem a bit kludgy but I can make it work. Strangly, the changing the default alternative works in Agendus Mail just as it does in SnapperMail.

Given that we have a direct connection to the Internet, shouldn't it be possible to develop an email client that connects to various email servers and then both retrieves email and sends email from each server. PocoMail, for example, does this easily from my laptop.

Again, many thanks!
