Beyond Contacts

Anyone going to try the new version of Beyond Contacts? They supposedly have integrated it so that it updates the native palm database and vice versa to improve SmartPhone functionality.

I have been watching this program closely as I would like to have all of my contact information with me at all times but a completely separate database had been a deal breaker previously.

I bought Beyond Contacts when DataViz first introduced it. I tried it but didn't like it because the Caller ID functions, speed dials, Eudora lookup functions, etc. didn't work. So I went back to using Desktop to Go to sync Outlook to the native Palm functions.

DataViz sent an e-mail yesterday saying that they have fixed this so I just downloaded and installed the updated version. It syncs the Outlook Contacts with both the Beyond Contacts contact list AND with the Palm Address Book in order to keep the above-mentioned functions working. So far everything seems to be fine.

I've had Beyond Contacts for some time. I recently went back to Agendus. While I like having the exact same fields in my palm as I have in Outlook (eg: multiple email addresses, etc.), I couldn't stand how long it took to populate the fields in the date book end of BC. I know it sounds minor, but if you go into a Month, or Week view, several seconds elapse before appointments are added(apparently reading the native db and then transferring to BC).
