Can anyone recommend a good, simple program that would keep track of mileage for me so I can get reimbursed at work? Ideally I could pre-enter certain round-trip destinations so that everytime I make a particular trip I could just push a button or two and it would log the date I made the trip and the distance.

Anybody know of a good (preferably freeware) program to automate this simple task?

I use a program called Trip. I purchased it for my very first Palm IIIc and have never gone with anything else. It is by Handshigh (handshigh.com). They have several useful apps at their site. The other one I have of theirs is Thoughtmanager.

Trip is great because it can be exported to Memo and then exported to Excel to make useful spreadsheets for billing purposes.
