I searched the forum but didn't really see an answer for this. Several people have asked about using a Bluetooth SD card with the phone functionality (for those of you just tuning in, you can't).
Has anyone used the Bluetooth cards for syncing with computers or other data transfer applications? I am curious about the set-up involved then the speed of the sync.
I sync my 7135 with a couple of computers (Windows @ work, Mac @ home). Both have bluetooth. I'm tired of switching cables.
probably NOT.
you'd have to find out if the bluetooth software for palm which comes with the bluetooth card enables that functionality in the hotsync manager or not
the hotsync manager on the mac has 2 choice for blue tooth. One with modem and one with pda sync port. Will these lets us do wireless connectivity to our lap tops for synching and internet accessl
I'm not sure if this answers your question... But I have a Kyocera 7135, the Palm Bluetooth SD card, and an Apple PowerBook. With the Palm Bluetooth card in the 7135 I can wirelessly sync to my Mac using either just the typical hotsync or Apple's iSync. Both cases work just fine.
