Mobile Mail and Outlook 2003 Security Removal???

If it isn't one thing its another, I'm back to using Mobile Mail but the conduit is causing and access violoation in outlook and prompts for access. This is ok when I'm in the office to click it but when try and do a wireless sync, it will not synchronize. Does anyone know how to get an updated conduit for Mobile Mail? I can't find one or does anyone know how to disable this security feature? I've searched slipstick but didnt' see anything and I don't want use the program that clicks yes. I'd like to disable it.

i'd check msdn on how to do that, maybe
(msdn.microsoft.com)
or find some dedicated outlook forums, maybe you'll run across some msce's that can help

Yeah, I've been searching, wish Palm would update their conduit for Mobile Mail like they did pocket mirror.

Kyocera 7135, Outlook 2003, Mobil Mail

I have been searching the web for a few days trying to find a solution to synchronizing my Outlook 2003 mail with my phone through Mobil Mail. I was able to with Outlook 2000, but now have upgraded to 2003. Kyocera has given virtually no help. I see that I am not alone here, has anyone found a solution?

As far as I know, you can't disable that feature. The whole point of it was to keep malicious code (viruses) from being able to access your MAPI address book without your permission. Making it possible to bypass it would make it possible for the virus writers to bypass it.

I stopped using Outlook for mail many many months ago. Since then, I've used it only for contacts and scheduling - until last week, when I dumped it entirely and went back to the Palm Desktop. Outlook is a huge, steaming pile of elephant dung.

OUTLOOK SECURITY ISSUE

Here is the answer to your security "feature" issue.

It works great and i use it all the time on programs that require you to click yes for outlook syncing.

Have fun.!!!!
