Crashes every time I try to download e-mail!

Well, I've never had this problem before. Now everytime I go to download my e-mail in Eudora, the 7135 crashes. Another e-mail program I have (Papi-Mail) just times out while attempting to retrieve the e-mail.

Internet seems to be working fine though -- I can browse the Web fine with Blazer and even wirelessly update AvantGo. Anybody got any clues what I should try to do for a fix?

Mark

NOTE: The search function on this site is your friend! Use it.

A simple search for "Eudora AND crash" (without the quotes) reveals lots of possibilities. Here is a link to one in particular that may interest you ......

Use a file manager program to delete the "scratchpad" that's talked about in that thread.

Hard reset the phone and ReSyncronize. Probably a corrupt file coming over in your email, may solve the problem.

Deleting the "Eudora Scratchpad" file did the trick!

Actually, I never would have thought of doing a search on "Eudora" and "Crash", because I usually only use Papi-Mail. I only tried Eudora out of desperation when Papi-Mail stopped working.

It's weird how deleting this Eudora file even got Papi-Mail to start working again.... Go figure!
